Modular and Remotely controllable regulator for residential, radiant and thermal power plants
The REG System is a configurable HVAC platform that manages the entire chain of the air conditioning system: from the detection of the needs in the individual room to the control of the generators, passing through the hydronic distribution and air treatment.

REG System, why ?
REG allows you to control and above all remotely manage a wide variety of plants, from single boilers to the most complex thermal power plant and is particularly evolved in the management of:
RADIANT COOLING
Thanks to flush-mount sensors and integrated algorithms for the management of Humidity, Dew management, Dehumidification and mechanical air ventilation
BOILERS AND HEAT PUMPS CASCADE
With integrated algorithms and interface to Opentherm and ModBUS systems, cascades of hybrid generators for conditioning and domestic hot water production
HYBRID AND FULL ELECTRIC SYSTEMS
External temperature, response times, season, warning signals and more determine at all times the best energy source to adopt
CENTRALIZED THERMAL POWER PLANTS
Management of multiple circuits, with or without mixing valve, domestic hot water, Antilegionella and recirculation, all of this with remote management

Coordinated flush-mount sensors
Managing a thermal power plant does not pose major aesthetic problems, but when it comes to Radiant Systems, then the game changes: the need to have a precise and timely measurement of Temperature and Humidity (essential parameters to prevent the formation of condensation on radiant surfaces), clashes with the aesthetic expectations of customers and architects.
Remote Management
REG is natively equipped with a Cloud remote management system, accessible both via Web and via App: in this way the end user can manage his system at any time and be informed of any anomalies.

Open to world
In modern systems, integration with Home Assistant and Building Management System ia an essential requirement, and also on this REG it is well prepared:

HVAC Control features
If you want to deepen the functions that REG makes available to you, here are some notions about the operation of the system; to go into even more detail, access to our Technical Wiki, with examples, tutorials and references

Zone management
Zones determine when a part of the system requires air conditioning, combining room temperature, humidity, current working mode and external enabling signals.
- Four working modes — Comfort, Economy, Antifreeze, Off — with dedicated setpoints for each mode and each season.
- Multi-level enabling: global system enabling, zone enabling from an external contact, allowed season (never / summer / winter / summer+winter), associated clock, allowed working mode.
- Working mode override taking priority over the clock: it allows a single room to be excluded or forced without altering the program of the other zones associated with the same clock.
- Typical configurations already provided: bathrooms and towel warmers active in winter only, mixed systems with radiant floor in heating and fan coils in cooling, linked zones, zones with special operating regimes.
- Hysteresis on activation and deactivation, with the direction of the comparison automatically consistent with the current season.
Circulating pump control
- Single pump or twin pumps, with automatic switching to the backup pump in the event of a fault and automatic rotation every 4 days to even out wear.
- Configurable pump fault inputs, with alarm logging and generator shutdown.
- Start-up delay — useful for waiting until the manifold actuators open — and post-circulation to dissipate residual heat.
Mixing valves
Each circuit can drive a 3-point mixing valve or one with a 0/10 V signal, with configurable PI control (modulation time, proportional coefficient, integral coefficient) and a settable dead band. For 3-point valves a stop time is provided, after which the relay is released, preventing the actuator from being needlessly powered.
The manual override command makes it possible to check the operation and wiring of the valve during commissioning, acting on the position (0/10 V valves) or on the opening and closing speed (3-point valves).
Flow temperature
The calculation of the desired flow temperature is independent for the summer and winter seasons and can be performed:
- at a fixed setpoint, with distinct values for Comfort and Economy;
- with a climatic curve as a broken line over four outdoor temperature points, distinct for each season and working mode.
- with a compensation given by the room temperature
To both modes is added an offset accessible to the end user from the Settings menu, which allows fine tuning of comfort without touching the installer’s configuration.
In Radiant Cooling systems the flow temperature is also monitored and modified by the Condensation prevention algorithms
Complex hydronic architectures
- Parent/child circuits for distributions across several levels: activating the child circuit automatically activates the parent.
- Mutually exclusive circuits (Mutex) for systems with branches at different temperatures, typically to prevent high-temperature water from circulating in a radiant floor while a direct circuit is active.
Dehumidification, integration and mechanical ventilation
The dedicated subsystem manages dehumidifiers, integration units, fan coils and controlled mechanical ventilation, working in coordination with the zones or, for some ventilation functions, autonomously with its own clock.
- Dehumidification and integration function with dedicated offset.
- Economy function for dehumidifiers.
- Mechanical ventilation controlled by a clock and/or by an air quality sensor.
- Management of ducted units by summing the 0/10 V demands of the individual zones, and management of more than 8 fan coils in 0/10 V.
Sources and generators
Sources are the last link in the chain and are activated exclusively by the circuits upstream, with dedicated setpoints and offsets for each season.
- Hybrid systems: up to 3 simple sources of different types — boilers, heat pumps, thermo-fireplaces, chillers — with priority logics that evaluate the outdoor temperature, fault conditions and the state of the system to choose the most cost-effective generator at any given moment.
- Degraded source: management of operation under reduced performance conditions.
- Power cascade with 1 to 8 generators of the same type managed as a single source, via Opentherm or Modbus, with a dedicated PID algorithm.
- Opentherm in heating, cooling and DHW through dedicated modules, with reading of the diagnostic data returned by the generator (flow, return and outdoor temperature, error codes).
- Management of 0/10 V sources in power and control of thermal power plants.
Domestic hot water
The DHW subsystem behaves like a zone with specific functions: it receives the working mode from a clock and activates a circuit.
- Dedicated setpoints and configurable associated circuit.
- Programmable antilegionella cycle.
- Domestic recirculation management.
- Instantaneous production and integration with solar thermal on one or two storage tanks.
- Integration with photovoltaics and Surplus function, to channel excess self-produced energy towards the DHW storage tank.
Since every zone can be configured with a DHW function, the system can manage up to 33 domestic hot water production or storage points.
Free signals and custom logics
Custom logics can be built without resorting to external PLCs:
- 3 mathematical functions with 13 available operations — sum, difference, average, minimum, maximum, variants excluding the operand in error, selection based on the season, multiplexers conditioned by logical functions, backup on a faulty probe. The result can be recalled wherever an analog input is provided, for example to activate a zone on a temperature differential or to assign a calculated setpoint to a circuit.
- 4 boolean logic functions: NOT, AND, OR, XOR, set/reset flip-flop and start/stop flip-flop. The result can be used wherever a digital input is provided — zone enabling, source lockout, output control.
- Virtual outputs and counters for energy monitoring.
- Annual calendar, management of external signals and antifreeze mode at system level.
